DDT Gives Back – Lavender Life Farms
Every year Daddy Daughter Time hosts a bonus event that focuses on giving back to an organization or cause in the area. This year, we took time on a sunny Saturday afternoon to help the folks at Lavender Life Farms. Victor and Vickie own the farm and have huge hearts, especially when it comes to foster children. It became their mission to offer up something that may not erase the trauma kids going through the foster care system may be going through, but hopefully to offer a welcomed new friend into their lives. Enter Xander Bunny. A soft warm-able bunny stuffed with lavender from the farm and Michigan cherry pits. For each and every Xander Bunny they sell, one is given to a kiddo in the foster care system.

Victor and Vickie were fantastic hosts! We harvested some lavender and our Daddy Daughter Time families stuffed over 600 bunnies! Then we all enjoyed some s’mores and the girls were sent home with a bundle of lavender to keep.
