 It's time to lace them up and hit the ice! Daddy Daughter Time invites Dads with young daughters to join us for an Ice Skate Date event at the Patterson Ice Arena.
We'll have a 90-minute skate party including some fun games for prizes! Skate rental is included but you can bring your own if you like. Helmets are encouraged! If you get hungry, there will be concessions available for purchase. We will provide free bottled water. Tickets are $20 per person or if you're a member, it's $10. Not a member? Daddy Daughter Time is headed to Action Wake Park in Hudsonville for an afternoon of wet and wacky fun on their all new inflatable Aqua Park!
Action Wake Park is known for it's cable system that allows guests to wakeboard and do tricks. Now, they've added a huge inflatable aqua park obstacle course for those who just want to climb and play! On Saturday, August 12 from 5-7:30 p.m. we will be hosting two 50-minute sessions (depending on the number of guests) so that everyone gets plenty of time on the inflatable. There will be ladderball, cornhole, and other fun games for those landlubbers waiting for their turn. Preregistration is required! Daddy Daughter Time is returning to Cheeky Strut Salon in downtown Grand Rapids as Dads and daughters spend some bonding time at the beauty salon on June 25, 2023.
The Big Braid teaches the basics of ponytails, pigtails, and braids to the Dads with the great Cheeky Strut staff while the girls get pampered with nails painted, temporary glitter tattoos and more. Already know how to braid? There's an advanced level area for those wanting to step up their game with fishtail braids, French braids, and more. The Cheeky Strut stylists can help train you on ANY type of hair. After the training, we bring Dads and daughters together for some fun games, prizes, and a chance for the Dads to test out their new skills on their daughter's hair. Refreshments will be provided. Join Daddy Daughter Time for an afternoon of fun on the farm! On Saturday, May 13th from 1-3, the staff at the Critter Barn will give our group a tour of their brand new farm! We'll pet baby bunnies, hold baby chicks, feed goats, and more! Snacks and bottled water will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Deadline to register is 5 p.m. on May 12th. This year we're hosting an "Origami for Mommy" event where Dads and daughters can work together to make some pretty heart shaped boxes and flowers from paper to give to their Moms for Mother's Day! We'll be meeting at the Wave Room at Celebration Cinema North on Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m. There an instructor will lead us step-by-step through the folding process. Once complete, each daughter will have two or more origami presents to give to Mom. Snacks and bottled water will be provided. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
